Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Ordo Group Ltd, trading as AgensData ("AgensData", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us, apply to become a partner or otherwise deal with us. We handle personal information in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR).
1. Who we are
AgensData is a trading name of Ordo Group Ltd, which is the controller of the personal information described in this policy. Ordo Group Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16904083, with its registered office at Suite RA01, 195-197 Wood Street, London, E17 3NU.
For any question about this policy or your personal information, email info@agensdata.com with the subject line "Data protection".
2. Who this policy applies to
Our services are aimed at businesses and organisations. This policy covers the individuals we deal with, including website visitors, people who submit an enquiry or partner application, and representatives of current or prospective clients, data owners, suppliers and partners.
3. Information we collect
We collect the information you choose to give us, which may include:
- Contact and identity details — name, job title, work email address, phone number.
- Organisation details — company name, website, country, company size and sector.
- Enquiry and application details — the type of enquiry or partnership, timelines, how you heard about us, and anything you write in a message.
- Preferences — whether you have agreed to receive updates from us.
- Correspondence — emails and other communications you exchange with us.
Our website hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information, such as IP address, browser type, date and time of access and pages requested, for security and to keep the site working. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website.
Please do not send us special category data (for example health, ethnicity, religious beliefs or biometric data), criminal-offence data, or any confidential records through the website. If you share details about another person, such as a colleague, please make sure they are aware and that you are entitled to share them.
4. How we use your information and our lawful bases
- To respond to enquiries and partner applications — legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us and developing our business) or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.
- To assess, set up and manage business relationships — performance of a contract, or legitimate interests where the contract is with your organisation rather than you personally.
- To send updates about our services — consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link or by emailing us. Where permitted by law, we may also send relevant business communications to corporate contacts on the basis of legitimate interests, and you can object at any time.
- To keep our website and systems secure, and prevent fraud and misuse — legitimate interests.
- To comply with legal and regulatory obligations, and to establish, exercise or defend legal claims — legal obligation and legitimate interests.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have balanced those interests against your rights and freedoms. You can ask us for more information about this assessment. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing, and we do not sell personal information.
5. Who we share information with
We only share personal information where necessary, and only with:
- Service providers who act on our instructions, such as website hosting, email and IT providers. Enquiries and applications sent through our website forms are delivered to us by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service.
- Prospective counterparties to a data, partnership or infrastructure arrangement, but only with your knowledge and agreement.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers, accountants and insurers, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Regulators, law enforcement, courts or other authorities where we are required or permitted by law.
- A buyer or successor of all or part of our business, who will be bound by equivalent obligations.
6. International transfers
We work with organisations around the world, and some of our service providers may process information outside the UK. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by an appropriate safeguard, such as a UK adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or that another lawful transfer mechanism applies.
7. How long we keep information
- Enquiries and partner applications that do not lead to a relationship: up to 24 months after our last contact.
- Information relating to a contract or business relationship: for the duration of the relationship and up to 6 years afterwards, in line with legal limitation periods.
- Marketing preferences: until you withdraw consent or object, after which we keep a minimal record so that we respect your choice.
We may keep information for longer where required by law or needed in connection with a legal claim.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against accidental loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including access controls and encryption in transit. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send confidential or sensitive information through our website forms.
9. Your rights
Subject to certain conditions and exemptions, you have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Have inaccurate or incomplete information corrected.
- Have your information erased.
- Restrict how we use your information.
- Object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests, and object at any time to direct marketing.
- Receive your information in a portable format, or have it transferred to another organisation.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where we rely on consent. This does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
To exercise your rights, email info@agensdata.com. We may need to confirm your identity. We will respond within one month, which may be extended where the law allows. Exercising your rights is usually free of charge.
10. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
11. Children
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, with the date it was last updated. Where changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.

7. Links
Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only. We have no control over those websites and accept no responsibility for their content, availability or practices. You may link to our home page in a fair and lawful way that does not damage our reputation or suggest any association or endorsement that does not exist.
8. Availability and security
We provide the website on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the website, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted, accurate, complete, up to date or free from errors, viruses or other harmful components. You are responsible for your own IT, virus protection and the security of your systems. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website at any time.

- Subject to that, we will not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, for any loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, opportunity, goodwill, anticipated savings or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss, arising from or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the website or reliance on any of its content.
- Subject to that, our total liability to you arising from or in connection with the website and these terms will not exceed £100.
10. Indemnity
You agree to compensate us for any losses, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) that we incur as a result of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website, including any claim by a third party relating to information you have submitted.
11. Events outside our control
We will not be responsible for any failure or delay in providing the website caused by events outside our reasonable control.
